As a person who grew up fearing swans and their long necks (the product of being chased by a wild turkey at a living history museum as a kid?), I've really come to appreciate their beauty in the last few years. Paddling around Echo Lake in a swan boat on vacation with my wife in 2018 just solidified the whole thing, and so now I'm celebrating this elegant creature with a pin.
